Introductory Opening Blog...

In this blog I would like to make progress towards bringing together people who can create a new culture. Where are our contemporary Tolkein and C.S Lewis types? The popular media these days seems to have a subversive editorial which is militating against a wholesome integrated understanding of the human person. It is projecting a Godless lifestyle for young people. I would like a new editorial in which a wholesome understanding of the human person is projected. I believe this could form the basis of excellent comedies and dramas and music culture.

We cannot let the forces of darkness win the battle in the field of entertainment, we cannot stand by and be so negligent. This is a call to arms. Let's co-ordinate a response and make something happen. Let's build a movement which supports creativity and art on the basis of a profound understanding of the dignity of the human person created in the image and likeness of God and thus perfected in communion with others. I'm confident that we can make the best and most appealing content.

This needs coordination, institutional support, funds, passionate people...

The Holy Spirit is currently inspiring many Christian Groups to take up this challenge with many varying initiatives. My aim is to find out for myself what is already happening and hence provide a guide for myself and others. I hope that my efforts might help the growth of a movement responding to these times: Converting our Culture to one of Faith and Christian discipleship and thus one which affirms God's Image. This will mean many lives lived in more joyous, more beautiful, more loving, more faithful, more mystical, more befriended way.

Please get involved and help and post ideas or let me know what's already happening. Subsequent to this initial posting I will list some initiatives that I know of.
